Careers

Built for the missions that matter most.

RedRadar gives the West visibility into adversary ecosystems that standard tools cannot reach. We are building the founding team now — practitioners who understand the mission, operate with discretion, and want to shape a capability rather than maintain one.

Software Engineer

Remote · USFull-timeIC background required
+

A foundational engineering hire. You will shape the platform, not inherit it — designing, building, and hardening the core services and components that power RedRadar's intelligence capabilities. You will own work end to end: architecture, implementation, performance, and reliability, and set the engineering standard the team builds on.

This is an early-stage role. You will wear many hats — one day deep in data work, the next in system reliability, the next in architecture decisions that shape the company. Comfort with ambiguity and ownership isn't optional; it's the job.

You bring

  • A strong engineering foundation — systems design, data structures, and the judgment to build things that hold up under pressure
  • Real experience shipping production back-end services and APIs at scale
  • Fluency in a modern back-end language and the discipline to write clean, secure, maintainable code
  • Experience working with sensitive data in secure, compliant environments
  • A background in or adjacent to the U.S. Intelligence Community — and an instinct for the mission
  • The temperament of a founding engineer: self-directed, accountable, and effective with minimal oversight

Specifics of the platform are shared later in the process, with candidates under evaluation.

Director of Business Development

Remote · USFull-timeIC background required
+

You will drive RedRadar's growth into the government, defense, and intelligence market — identifying the right institutions, running the room in briefings and demonstrations, and carrying opportunities from first contact to signed engagement. You will own the pipeline, shape the go-to-market motion, and be the trusted face of RedRadar to buyers who don't give their trust easily.

As an early commercial hire, you'll build the playbook as you run it. Prospecting, relationship-building, deal strategy, and closing all sit with you.

You bring

  • A track record of selling into government, defense, or intelligence — with the relationships and instincts that come with it
  • The credibility to sit across from directors of intelligence, program managers, and mission owners as a peer
  • Sharp judgment on how procurement, capture, and trust actually work in this world
  • The drive of a founding salesperson: relentless, resourceful, comfortable owning the number
  • A background in or adjacent to the U.S. Intelligence Community — you know how these buyers think because you've been one of them

Intelligence Analyst

Remote · USFull-timeIC background required
+

A founding analyst at the center of the mission — operating RedRadar the way our clients do: running investigations, pressure-testing coverage, and turning raw multi-source data into finished intelligence. You'll define what "good" looks like for our outputs, guide where we deepen coverage, and translate analyst needs into product direction. Your judgment will shape the platform itself.

This is a founding, many-hats role. Analysis, tradecraft, product feedback, and target research all sit with you. If you want to shape a capability rather than just consume one, this is the seat.

You bring

  • Real analytic tradecraft — OSINT, entity resolution, and the discipline to build a picture others can't
  • Domain depth in adversary intelligence; China-focused experience is a strong advantage
  • The ability to think like both an analyst and a builder — you'll shape the tool, not just use it
  • Fluency turning messy, multi-source data into intelligence that holds up under scrutiny
  • A background in or adjacent to the U.S. Intelligence Community — the mission demands it

// More roles will be announced as we expand our U.S. team.

What to expect

We are small by design, and serious by necessity.

The work is operationally serious

We support institutions whose missions affect real outcomes. The roles demand technical capability, sound judgment, and the discretion appropriate to sensitive work.

Confidentiality is operational

Much of our work runs under client confidentiality. Be comfortable on engagements where public visibility is limited and what you can discuss externally is constrained by contract.

Ownership over process

RedRadar is building for a problem space without an established playbook. These roles require the capacity to operate where prior solutions and settled processes may not exist.

Vetted, both ways

We partner only with institutions whose missions we understand — and we hire only those who understand the mission. Evaluation is structured, documented, and applied consistently.

How we evaluate candidates

RedRadar evaluates every candidate against the same job-related criteria for the position they applied to: technical skill, relevant experience, demonstrated capability against role requirements, and operational alignment with the role's responsibilities. We apply the same evaluation rubric to every applicant for a given role. Evaluations are documented. Decisions are made on the basis of measured performance against posted requirements.

Additional verification for sensitive roles

For roles involving access to client data, secure environments, or engagements with government or defense customers, additional verification applies uniformly to all candidates being considered for the role. This verification may include:

Equal opportunity

RedRadar provides equal employment opportunity to all qualified candidates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy, genetic information, veteran or military status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. RedRadar complies with applicable federal contractor employment regulations, including those administered by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). We are committed to maintaining a workplace free of discrimination and harassment. Concerns about employment practices can be raised through the channels described in our internal policies, which are provided to employees and contractors at engagement.

How positions are filled

RedRadar fills positions through targeted outreach and select recruitment channels appropriate to the cleared and security-sensitive nature of our work. Channels include direct sourcing, professional networks, partner introductions, and cleared-candidate platforms. When we have an open role, the position is published with explicit requirements, role responsibilities, and the verification framework that applies. Evaluation is conducted against the published criteria. We do not accept unsolicited resumes or speculative applications. Speculative submissions are not retained, are not evaluated, and do not create an applicant relationship with RedRadar.

Reasonable accommodations

Candidates with disabilities who require reasonable accommodation to participate in the application or interview process may request accommodation by contacting careers@redradar.ai. Requests are handled confidentially. The need for or request of an accommodation does not affect the evaluation of the candidate against role requirements.

How we handle candidate data

The handling of personal data about candidates, including how we collect it, what we do with it, how long we keep it, and the rights candidates have over it, is described in our Candidate Privacy Notice.
